All Good Things ......

..... must come to an end. I feel I have covered the "basics" of commercial rabbit raising, which was my purpose for this blog. I mean how much more can be said, without getting too technical, which I am not. We continue to enjoy our rabbits, and harvest an average of 70-80 rabbits every 2 weeks. We hope to continue this number through the summer.

There are also plenty of short videos on you-tube having to do with the subject of raising rabbits. So therefore I will just say I hope that what I have written has been a help to any of you interested in considering a rabbitry, whether commercial or just for your own use. This blog wll remain open, but I will not be posting. If anyone has questions, please feel free to e-mail me and I will be glad to attemp an answer.

Wishing you all the best ......
Sunny

Sunny, Just a quick as a bunny note, I showed your operation to my hubby and he was quite impressed. I need to show my brother yet, who does raise rabbits for his own use. He too will be impressed. Thanks for all of the valuable info.
Now, hop to it. You have a lot of work to do.

Just wanted to thank you for your awesome blog. We have gotten into the rabbit meat production business. Been raising rabbits for 3 yrs. We currently have 7 producing does and 6 jr does will be ready to breed this month and 2 bucks. We will be getting up to 30 does and at least 3 bucks by summer next yr. We raise mostly NZW but there are 2 nzw crossed with califorina in there. We also sell to a possessor every 2 weeks. I love being able to play and hold new babies all the time.
O i love your cages going to have to build a few myself.

Raising various kinds of animals is so fascinating. I think rabbits are sweet but I imagine there is much hard work raising them. Hugs Anne
