I have enjoyed this time and adventure of raising rabbits commercially very much, but life is always changing.
Since my husband passed away on June 2 this year, I have had some tough decisions to make. I have had to realize it would be next to impossible to continue the rabbits by myself. That said this will be the last post on this blog. It may remain open for a time so that others may access information. I wish you all happy success in your rabbit raising ventures. Thank you for allowing me the joy of giving some practical imput and hopefully helpful information.
(((((hugs))))) I have enjoyed this blog and even though we raise meat rabbits as a back yard hobby and 4H projects, we've learned a lot from this blog. I wish you luck in where ever your future takes you.

Oh please keep it up! I loved that I was able to go back and see how the rabbitry grew and the info it contains. It is a valueable resource for ppl to see a large-scale rabbitry cared for with such care that most of us small-scalers do. Sorry about the loss of your husband and I totally understand your decision. Blogspot's policy is that it will NEVER take down a blog or take away someone's domain name so you can just leave it idle for ever :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. Your blog has been an inspiration to me and many others.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your husband! You will be my prayers.Your rabbitry will always be an inspiration and valued source of information to all who raise rabbits. Thank you for sharing so much with others and please consider leaving the blog up for all who are looking for good, reliable information.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to raise meat rabbits this year and found your blog while looking for a better way. I have read through your whole blog and really like the way you have done things. I am in the planning stage for constructing a rabbit barn and I now plan on using your cage design. I just wanted to let you know that finding this blog has inspired me. Thank you.
