Just when I thought things couldn't get any better .....
Hubby builds a cupboard in the barn for my rabbit supplies.
He does a fantastic job!
Under that he has fashioned a work bench.....
at just the right height for me.
So the whole work area looks like this....
The bench will come in handy for scraping nest boxes, or set a rabbit on for examining or treatment, and there is room underneath for my fly-sprayer and my bucket I use for weighing fryers.
He's so clever. I appreciate all he does to make the work easier for me!
That was so nice of him. My husband does things like that for me too. Aren't handy husbands a blessing. I'm glad you decided to post on here again. I plan on getting my rabbits by spring and I need all the help I can get.

How large is your barn?
Wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your sharing your experiences w/ the rabbits. We backyard/hobby breed and butcher rabbits for our family. We're in CA (but please don't hate us just for that!). Your operation looks very good. Looking forward to chatting a bit with you as time allows. We have 4 kids, hunt, homeschool and love to can food, dehydrate etc. Take Care,
